Does anyone know where (if anywhere) I can find the database entry associated with the check box to "Temporarily disable all basic alerts"? I'm trying to find a way to keep track of (and generate alerts on) whenever this box is checked? Any Ideas?
just got bit in the ass this morning because this was turned on when it shouldnt have been.
It could have been any one of my NOC techs or sys admins that did it and I have no way of knowing.
I need some form of auditing around this very dangerous little check box!!!
Where you able to find out where "Disable All Actions" check-box value is kept?
OK, we had SQL on maintenance for a while and I was still able to check this box, although it took some time to actually load Alert Manager (I guess it was desperately looking for SQL database). I was able to disable all actions, which suggests that this value is NOT kept in DB but somewhere within application itself...
