Kubernetes container monitoring via Agent

I am using SAM to monitor our server environment.

All servers report to the engines via Agent initiated.

I have been asked to monitor Kubernetes containers in Linux.

I gave the admin follow the proscribed methods.

The install completed properly on the server, however the instance does not appear in the Containers page.

For some reason, the monitor insists on communicating directly with the Main poller, port 17799

I have opened Case # - 00478559, and support confirms what we already know.

During installation, one of the required fields is polling engine, but the installer appears to ignore the entry.

Has anyone had success installing the Kubernetes monitor in an Agent only environment?

In the end, we had to open port 17799 between the Orchestrator/Master and all Linux servers with the Kubernetes containers to be monitored.

Once those ports were open, then the Container Services finally showed the Container. Apparently the Master is not monitored, though it is where the agent was installed to allow communication with the other servers running the containers.

Apparently, the admin who was performing the install WAS selecting the main polling engine, despite telling me otherwise. Still waiting for the appropriate port to be open to that Additional Poller to see if the correct component can be monitored.

I need your help, I have never monitored Kubernetes.

Steps taken:
1. Go to Settings / Manage Container Services, add the service to generate the .yalm
2. Configure the archive and leave all pods running.

Missing:
3. Being able to monitor the data in the application, I don't know how to add the Kubernetes to monitoring, I don't see any information about those services correctly configured in Ubuntu.
