Suggestion:VMWARE Console

Question

Just a suggestion here, but I think to display the main VMbox and its quests properly and neatly it should be another link at the top like Wireless.  Maybe there could be something to tick to say its a VM or maybe they just get added automatically but having a "VM Console" would be awesome.

We have A LOT of VM boxes so a 1 stop shop screen would be great for my server admins.

It's a fair request and something that we're actually working on as we expand our virtualization capabilities beyond ESX monitoring to VM DataCenters and Clusters.   In the interim, I'm going take this idea and do a blog post on how to create an uber VMware view.

Sure I could.  In fact I have done somehthing similar.  The idea is that it becomes a feature not something manual done by a user.  Or that was the reason for my post anyway.

Wouldn't it be possible to create a view that had what you wanted and then make a link to that view on your bar?

You could do a summary node view of some sort or even a special console like map of the VMWare stuff?
