I keep getting email alerts 3 or 4 times a day reporting services going down however these are services that are down already and their status hasn't changed, I am finding that the Application monitor is going into an 'Unknown' state and so when it recovers it then shows the service as 'down' initiating an email alert. This appears to be happening on all the Application monitors I have checked which is concerning.
Has anyone experienced this issue before, I have raised a ticket with Solarwinds but the process seems very slow I assume they are very busy.
I am running SAM 6.4.0 and NPM 12.1 on Windows 2008 Servers.
I currently can't update to a later version due to the OS I am running (don't ask!)
Any help in this matter would be appreciated, thanks.
