https/http monitor of a sharepoint site failing

I'm trying to monitor a sharepoint site with an https/http monitor. I've entered the credentials, and I've verified that they work, and that they work from my Solarwinds server, but every time I test the monitor, I get an authentication failure. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I've been informed that user@domain is incorrect. The username is simply in an email address type format. There is no domain, as near as I can tell.

Edit: Not sure what is meant by marking this an answer. I was simply clarifying that there was no domain involved. I still can't authenticate.

Just to double check, in the credentials you defined for APM to use, did you define the user name as 'domain\user'? If you don't define the domain, this may be part of the reason it's failing to authenticate.

The authentication is user@domain, but I tried \user@domain to try to force local authentication. Neither worked.

Credentials for Windows domain accounts should be entered into Orion APM in the <domain>\<username> format. For example: domain\user

Unfortunately, this is a hosted environment, so no domain involved, and it's also load balanced. Is there no other option than <domain>\<username>?
