I'm currently using Energywise on most of my switches for power monitoring and reporting right now - and thanks to Cisco finally getting the IOS version for the 6500 series with Energywise support I've been able to upgrade all our 6509 switches also.
I noticed that NPM doesnt detect or know that Cisco now has an IOS that supports energywise on the 6509 since it lists it under "not capable" and therefore I can't use NPM to enable/configure Energywise on this switches. I however I found that if I manually configured energywise on the switch solarwinds would see this and bring it into the system fine. Any news when you'll fix NPM to see this without the manual workaround?
Also - NPM also lists a load of cisco devices that are NOT energywise capable (some old switches and routers and old versions of IOS which dont support energywise not to mention some CME voicemail modules!) - any chance of getting that cleared up?
