Upgrading Licenses

We recently purchased the SL250 for Orion and we are looking to install the additional licenses, we wanted to make sure prior to installing that this will not erase the previous settings and configuration we have done on the application? Also, is there a procedure to back up the database prior to installing the additional licenses?

Nothing will be erased just run the installer just backup the maps and reports folders. The DB backup procedure as follows- www.solarwinds.com/.../Backups.html
