N.P.M 11.5.3/ N.C.M 7.4.1

i downloaded the application in the subject, and everything is up and running, but on the server I cannot find the application itself to open and use rather than the web interface.

under program files/solarwinds/

there is no NPM or NCM.

what am I missing?

I'm not sure what you are looking for as everything is managed in the web console for both of those applications the install files are located in c:\program files (x86)\solarwinds\orion

check in your drives available and in any case if its gone under hidden files/folders.

You can also check the application from the Start menu...

neomatrix1217 is correct. There is not a NCM or NPM application that you use to monitor or manage. Most of the features have move to the web UI. There are a few exception like SNMP trap alerts, syslog trap alerts, and the old style report writer (though I would try to use this a seldom as possible as I can see them phasing this out as well). Everything else that I can think of right now is in the web console and only there.
