Alert for Application Monitors does reset but does not send e-mail when it goes up

Hello,

I have used the default alert for applications that their status changes and when they go down for example, I get an e-mail.

When the alert resets, I don't get an e-mail for that, although it is configured to send an e-mail.

Also, I think that I never get e-mails when other alerts reset.

What can I do?

If your email is working on the Down but not Up, first thing I would try is to remove the reset action and then just copy from the Trigger. Once this is done, all you should have to do is change the subject to distinguish between the two (and change the body of the email if desired). I usually just put RESET in the subject.

I will give it a try. The thing is that I tried to simulate the execution of reset alert and it sent me the "up" e-mail, which confuses me more.

The alert I am using is "Alert me when an application goes down".

Edit:

I disabled Exchange Diagnostics from AppInsight for Exchange, which was affecting the application's status (it was always down as we have disabled exchange diagnostics on our Exchange Servers). Now the AppInsight is Up and I got a mail that the App is up. So, your advice seems to be helpful!
