Wanted to inquiry about a legacy script if i can use Solarwinds

I had a user come to me asking if solarwinds can talk to Flexera Flexnet, What the user has done is write a script to inform him when the license count is at 1 0r 0 the program is in Citrix that he wrote can I write a variable or similar to start solarwinds monitoring this.

I think you are asking if the script can be ported into SAM using SAM's Custom Script Monitor potentially even replacing the the custom built program/script that monitors licenses on that app..

SAM can run many scripting types provided the script output is formatted in SAM "speak" - $Status: and $Message:

There might be other methods Flexera license details exposes itself that perhaps can be available for SAM to collect i.e. logfile
