Capacity planning

Looking for any docs of help on using Solarwinds NPM for capacity planning on the network and any modules that I may need to do this. First off can Solarwinds be used to do capacity planning for the network or am I better off looking at Opnet IT Guru for this?

I would think that IPSLA module would help with this but I can not find any documents or disccussions except for the Virtual and storage on capacity planning.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would also like to say so far not liking the new layot since I can't find anything now but that opinion may change over time but right now I think it is way to confusing when just looking to find the forums at a glance.
