Would anyone know how I can accomplish excluding IP addresses from being polled by NPM?
I found what I was looking for. I apparently put this in the wrong place. It was under IPAM that was causing the heartache and once I switched the IP's to stop polling it fixed it.
Under the "Edit Node" option, have you tried setting all options in the "Polling" section to 0 (seconds or minutes)? I can't speak to the efficacy of this as I haven't tried it, but it's possible that it could negate the polling interval and just stop polling the device. You could also try unmanaging the device for an indefinite amount of time to stop the polling but I'm not sure if that falls in line with what you're trying to accomplish.
