Is it possible to create a custom report, lets say for Average and Peak Traffic Rates - Last 7 Days, that doesn't include 24 hours as a full day. Instead have the stats collected for a certain time frame, say from like 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
You can select Last 30 days in the Named Time Frame drop down on the Time Frame tab. This will grab data for the last 30 days and then you can define your 8am to 5 pm in the Filter Results tab. The report should then pull 30 days of data and just report on the hours you filtered out. Are you trying to create a report for a group of devices or are you trying to get a utilization number for the entire network?
mikeyjay,
Yes it is possible to create a custom report for certain time frames. In the filter results tab, add a new elementary condition of "Records where Hour of Day (24 hour format) is greater than or equal to 8" and another elemntary condition of "Records where Hour of Day (24 hour format) is less than or equal to 17."
Hope this helps!
What about getting the peak traffic for something like the last 30 days and between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. I see in the Time Frame tab, Named Time Frame and specific Time frame, but you can only select one of the other.
Mikeyjay,
You may find this KB article helpful.
I got the folloing error when trying to do the KB article.
Just for my wan interfaces, not the entire network.
Is it possible to get these stats for just the last 2 days?
How does SQL's datetime between function work? I notice the sql queries in the reports will have: datetime between 37583.343 and 38434.534. What exactly is this saying? Is it adding the minutes hours and seconds?
