In our environment we are using our Solarwinds NTA server as our target node to poll internal and external website availability. Everything is green on the application monitor however, if you Wireshark the target node to see if the transactions are taking place on that server, I don't see anything HTTP in regards to the monitored IPs.
Even though you setup the target node to do the transactions, shouldn't we see something on the target node in regards to HTTP? If our NTA server goes down for whatever reason, will that affect the polling of the HTTP or HTTPS monitors?
Any understanding towards this would be awesome!
