trustedinstaller.exe take 100 % CPU every time the machine gets polled

I have a problem that some of my Windows 2008 R2 servers goes up to 100 % CPU and that it is the process trustedinstaller.exe that takes the CPU, this happands everytime i try to poll the machine, the result of this is that it lookes like the machine is busy all the time but in the real it is almost always ideal.

Anyone that have the same problem or has a solution to this problem?

What method are you guys trying to poll the servers with? SNMP? WMI? I monitor a pile of 2008 R2 servers and have yet to come across this.

WMI here. This was discovered on one particular server by one of our technicians, and can be duplicated with 100% reliability. I haven't had the opportunity to really dig in and compare to the rest of our environment, still doing research.

Have you tried removing the node and re-adding it? That's of course provided you don't mind losing the historical data.
