Modifying Gauges for APM Component Statistics

If I modify a gauge for an APM component statistic will it apply those changes to all APM componen statistic gauges or will it just apply those changes to all APM component statistic gauges of the same type, template, etc?

I would like to understand what the implications are of this change are before I make it on my production system, thanks!

Hello Byron,
this depends on gauge. If you mean "Component Statistics" gauge that is on component details page, then change of one will affect all others. It's only single view and single resource, just with different data for different components.

You can however add component gauges directly on application detail page and then change to this gauge will affect only gauges on the same application details view type.

View type is bound to application template and there is also default application details view type. You can create custom details views for templates or use the default one. This way you can isolate gauges and edit them for specific application.
