How to resolve Additional Poller installation error - can't receive data from SolarWinds Information Service?

I'm adding my first poller engine for our evaluation SolarWinds installation and I'm getting an error on the installation for this poller. I've provided the image below showing the error. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I didn't have the correct db credentials. Once I resolved that it worked.

I didn't have the correct db credentials. Once I resolved that it worked.

It appeared in my case that the license had become corrupted.

TAC downloaded a License reset tool and ran that. after they did that the installation worked, but until we applied the license everytime it ran configuration wizard, it failed at "Installing the VIM database update"
