How monitor traffic interface down protocol?

Hi all.

My Orion NPM 10.0 can not monitor traffic interface router Huawei is down protocol. ex router Huawei Ne40e, interface assign vlan run mpls l2vpn, don't assign IP address.

But when i restart server, NPM can monitor traffic in first new minutes, and then is not monitor. How can i fix it to monitor traffic?

I fiound in Orion quick start guide have:

Note: After installing Orion NPM, the polling engines create a baseline by
collecting status and statistics immediately, and then collecting them again 30
seconds later. You may notice an increase in your CPU usage during this time.
After this initial collection, Orion NPM collects network data every 10 minutes for
nodes, every 9 minutes for interfaces, and every 15 minutes for volumes.

Because After installing Orion NPM, the polling engines create a baseline by
collecting status and statistics immediately, and then collecting them again 30
seconds later --> NPM can monitor traffic interface that down protocol.
But then every 9 minutes for interfaces, the polling engines do not collec in the Interface is DOWN.
Anyone have fix?

Typically after a node reboot the ifindex changes, so we have to poll it and remap it to the old ifindex to keep the data history. If you don't want to wait that long you can via the web UI manually do a rediscover and poll now in web node management to kick off a polling cycle. Also if they are critical interfaces you can poll them on a more frequent basis for stats, but just beware that the more frequent you poll stats, the less capacity you get overall from the Orion install.

I monitor traffic of interface Gi 3/0/0 and 4/0/0, but in a few minutes it stop.

Quickest route to resolution I think is going to be a support ticket so they can look at your system and logs a little closer.
