Now that that the topology feature seems to be working really well in NPM 10.2.1 I started thinking about some next steps...
I would like to see a feature that would show me the path between two selected nodes; kind of like a network map version of directions in Google maps.
When you click on the tool you would have a window that allows you to select two nodes that exist in Orion. Then you click a button to Show The Path and it would use the topology data from the database to dynamically create a diagram showing the two nodes and all of the nodes/connections in between. Using a graphical representation for this that is similar to the NPM Network Topology resource would probably work well.
Any other contributing thoughts on this type of feature are welcome!
