SSH Monitor

Have a script that I run against a solaris box, that script will get back a 0/1 based on the status of a process. The problem I have is if SSH goes south for some reason the monitor will generate:

How do i get the test to fail with FAILED vs "UNKNOWN"

I had a similar issue not too long ago. Change Default Status for SSH Authentication Failures on Linux/Unix Script Monitor

TL;DR - Create another a PowerShell script that checks SSH session starts and authenticates

I haven't gotten around to creating one for it so I don't have one to share .

Appreciate that feedback, wish it were different, do your point, just use as unknown for this particular app to mean SSH is jacked!

We don't actually because personally I loathe making alert definitions for specific monitors, but that is definitely an alternative.
