Trying to customize uptime availability reports to only show systems that have been online for 30+ days. Our issue is that systems that have been brought online or decommissioned throughout the month end up affecting the average availability metrics. My solution is calculate the uptime only on systems that have been online for more than 30 days. If a server is decommissioned during the month or a new server is brought online halfway through the month for example, we are not concerned with capturing them in the uptime reports for that particular month.
Secondly, I am implementing the scheduled Unmanage Task for a 12 hour window weekly. My assumption is that downtime or outage during this 12 hour window will not be captured and reflected in the availability report. Is this correct?
Can someone please provide some guidance on how to tackle this?
