So I've had an on and off project for longer than I care to admit to address an issue I was having with SAM monitoring some of our customers servers. It had to do with Cisco UCS servers running Call Manager, Call Center, or Unity Connection, didn't really seem to matter which application, it would return an error "Unknown Application: Invalid Processor Count. I finally was able to track down an issue where the Host Resource Agent service is sometimes started by default, sometimes not. I have two customers we just deployed, on one of them it was started automatically while I had to go in and kick it off on the other one. I've been banging my head against the wall trying to get it to work, restarted SNMP more times than necessary, all to no luck. Just something to look at if you're running into the issue.
