I have a couple of older servers that i would like to monitor. However they are windows 2000 boxes. And some bizzare reason they don't work with the wmi credentials i have that work flawlessly in my 2k3/2k7 boxes. Any ideas ?
Win2k doesn't support the same WMI counters.
i was trying to use the app builder to pic and choose the services and that's where it fails to login. Also i can't login remotely from my SW box to the destination server so maybe it's just an issue with the software differences.
If you can't login remotely, it may be that WMI is being blocked somewhere on your network. Is there a firewall or something between Orion and this server?
possibly. But it works fine to the rother servers. it might be the security settings on the server.
