Can NPM be installed on a Win7 VM?

First time installing NPM. I tried installing it on a Windows 7 VM.

It went smoothly till the end. It says something similar to "Website configuration failed. The operation has timed out".

It has been known to have issues with Windows 7 or any workstation grade OS. Really need a server grade OS, anything Windows 2012 or higher will work.

installation on Win 7 i supported only for evaluation purpose i guess... refer the admin guide once to confirm....

You can run these below on Windows 7 . after that you will need to upgrade the O/S regardless if its for evaluation .

Orion Platform 2016.1.5300, SRM 6.2, SAM 6.2.1, DPA 9.2.0, NCM 7.5, IVIM 2.1.2, QoE 2.1.0, NetPath 1.0, NPM 12.0, NTA 4.1.2, UDT 3.2.4

Please Note: For production you must need to use the Server version of O/S . Tech support may refuse to troubleshot if the O/S is not on the recommended lines.
