Repeating Email alerts after acknowledgement

I have setup a down node alert. The trigger action has send an email alert. Under Execution settings I have enabled "Repeat this action every X minutes until the alert is acknowledged". The issue is even though I acknowledge the alert, I am still getting the email alert every X mins. Is there another setting somewhere I'm missing?

The alert checks for node status every minute.

Reset condition is: Reset this alert when trigger condition is no longer true (Recommended)

I just tried to recreate your problem on my own system (cuz i'm practicing setting up alerts anyways ) and can't seem to get the same result. I have mine send me an email every minute and i poll every 2 minutes. After I ack one of my alerts i never received an email again from it. Any other settings?

Hmm, restarted my server and still no luck. So I just copied the default node down alert I think.

First I setup a custom property for Critical Nodes with a value of Yes.

Evaluate trigger condition every minute.

Trigger conditions:

Alert on Node

All child conditions must be satisfied (AND)

Node status = Down

Node Critical_Node = Yes

Reset conditions:

Reset this alert when trigger condition is no longer true (Recommended)

Time of Day

Always

Trigger Actions

Netperfmon event log

Email:

Really they only thing other than the basics for sender, message and smtp server is under Execution settings I checked Repeat this action every X minutes until the alert is acknowledged. I have this set to 3 minutes.

Reset Actions

email: Just says node is back up.
