This morning I decided to finally add one of my licenses into my copy of NPM. As a test, I added an SL2000 license into a copy of Solarwinds where 10,135 interfaces already resided.
After I added the license, there were 8,135 "Interface Removed" events in the events list, however, upon checking the database, all 10,135 interfaces were still there. Also, upon checking the manage nodes screen and looking in a node for an interface listed in a Removed event, the interfaces are still there too, and pollable.
Also, NPM has no qualms re-managing around 270 nodes (each with around 8 interfaces), though I didn't wait to see if all the managed interfaces on the remanaged nodes were polled properly.
So my question is, is this expected behaviour? If not, what is the expected behaviour?
