Anyway to create an alert based on a windows event log ID in SAM6?

I am looking to create alerts based on event IDs inside windows event logs. Is this possible for SAM 6? SAM 6.1?

Absolutely. For this you can manually configure a Windows Event Log Monitor, or if the event exists in the Event Log already, you can use the Real-Time Event Log Viewer to select the event, and "Start Monitoring" for future occurrences.
