Change map icon based on Universal Device Poller values

I have several UnDP set up to poll a server and they are working fine. I am able to graph them and have set up alarms to trigger based on their values. What I cannot find how to do is to have the icon change on the maps to reflect the status. My pollers return OK, ALARM or DEACTIVATED and I would like to map that to green, red and grey.

Does anyone know how I can do that?

If you are adding the actual UnDP to the map, as long as you are setting thresholds appropriately, the icons should change. You can define those thresholds here: Define UnDP Warning and Critical thresholds

However, you likely only have 2 options for a warning and critical threshold. In your case you may want to map ALARM to Warning, and DEACTIVATED to Critical.

jblankjblank you for your guidance. I set the thresholds but it is still not working. I set the lack of any value as warning and ALARM as critical. The poller is showing as UP. It looks like the map icon is showing the overall poller status and not changing based on the actual value of the poller.

Here is what I see, considering that the value is blank the icon should be in warning:

Hmmm - let me see if I can find a string poller to test with in my lab, but I would actually assume you should be getting something back regardless correct? Shouldn't the current polled value be OK? Also try setting warning to something other than the is empty field as well. Set it to an actual value and test.

It is working now, maybe it needed time to update properly.
