NPM_NODE_VALUES_SHADOW is back!!

hi guys

i have latest everything installed, including nta 3.6, npm 10sp1 etc...  for the first time ever, i have seen this problem where the NPM_NODE_VALUES_SHADOW table gorws out of control.  my entire db is 21gb, but this table is over 9GB

my orion portal is running like a dog, so something is up

can i get advice?
