We monitor an external URL that can change its IP randomly and have set up the SSL Expiration SAM check on it. We have set the node to the current "polling IP" and then checked Dynamic IP check box and set it to use the dns name. Overnight, the IP changed and our SAM check for SSL Expiration started failing. It looks like either the dynamic IP isn't working or the SSL Expiration check locks in on the "polling IP" and ignores the dynamic IP setting. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone from Solarwinds comment on this? aLTeReGo?
