Account limitation error

I have a couple of dozen nodes that can no longer be viewed by anyone including the Admin account. I get the generic "Account Limitation Error" notification, however there are no limitations on these accounts. These nodes are typically facilities based nodes (UPS, cooling, etc..). Even if I delete the nodes and re-add them I am not able to access them. Looking for any suggestions on how to get around this. Thanks.

What ended up happening was a co-worker had created a limitation under Views by Device type. Once we found this and removed it, everything worked fine. he had renamed the Node Details view, so we recreated it and created copies to work from.

Check in Admin -> manage views, choose the view you are having problems with and click Edit . Look for View Limitations at this level.

It's not just the Admin account that can't view these devices...there are no accounts that are able to access these devices, even if I delete and re-add them.

I hate to say it, but this is happening to me right now as well - just added 8 nodes at a new site, and the Tripplite UPS is the only thing that this is happening to. I can't get the info tom come up in any view. Same deal, delete the node, add again, and the same thing happens. I have even added other nodes so the node ID is different and the same thing occurs.

I am ashamed and embarrassed to say that I also found an account limitation that caused my issue. The limitation that was created for our UPS views was made by a person not very experienced - the limitation was by a group of nodes with the UPS's selected, instead of by device type so that all nodes of that type got that view.

Atta boy, Andy! The client I am working with was getting the error on the Group Details view, and I thought Account limitations but none was applied to the account. The problem was a limitation was applied to Group Details view
