Is the NPM capable of testing EMAIL validity

Does the network performance monitor have the capability of testing/sending an email test??

In the GUI version of Advanced Alert Manager you can test out alerts. Just highlight the alert and press the Test button.

Advanced Alert Manager is found by going to All Programs, then 'Solarwinds Orion' then 'Alerting, Reporting and Mapping'.
