Duplicated alert sends original email and edited email

Question

Using SAM 6.6.1.

I selected "Duplicate and Edit" on an alert. Under the Trigger Actions I edited the "Copy of ...", renamed it to a unique name and changed the email content. When the alert is triggered it sends out the edited email and it also sends an email with the original text from the original alert that I duplicated. There is only one entry under Trigger Actions and it is my edited version.

The last line in the email action shows that it is coming from this Alert.

Any idea why it is also running the original action from the alert that I duplicated, even though it isn't listed under Trigger Actions?

If you go to Trigger Actions and for the email action select duplicate - then delete the original. Test it and see if that makes a difference. Also, check who you're sending the email to, it could just include multiple distribution groups that your part of.

I have disabled the original alert.

The last line in the email action says what alert generated the email and for both emails that get generated they both show the name of the new alert.
