Error counters

I have seen some posts about invalid errors on Cisco 3750 switches. I have been watching mine for a while. If I login to a device, and CLEAR the counters on a interface that was showing errors in Orion, how do I clear those same counters in orion? I thought it would there are no errors anymore, and clear itself, but that didnt happen.

Secondly, are these number cumlative?

The error OIDs are rolling SNMP counters which are fed by IOS. Clearing the counters in IOS has no effect on SNMP counters. The numbers are cumulative for the given time period. So errors today will have a running count for today only.

ya know, we were JUST talking about upgrading from 12.2(40) to 12.2(58)..

This might help on my 37xx switches, but I have some 6500's and 3845's doing similar.
