We monitor service and systems on behalf of a number of clients and we have a small number of server (60-100) which have the SW Agent installed and reporting back on. However, recently we have had a couple of Priority 1 calls raised triggering an On-CAll engineer to investigate a Node DOWN in the middle of the night only to find that the Node isn't DOWN but SolarWinds is stating that it is.
I have found that the installed SW Agent_Service has stopped on the Node therefore rendering all monitoring.
Are there common reasons why the SW Agent Service would just stop running on a given node as we're not finding any other signs within Event Logs on Nodes to isolate the root cause?
