Hi,
Im trying the new APM 4.0 that has more linux/unix monitors but im not sure if the apache monitor is for what OS? Or is there a Apache monitor templete that I could download for Centos 4.5 and Redhat 5?

The Apache monitor is for all Linux/Unix operating systems. It gets information from the built-in Apache status page (/server-status )and interprets the results.
But the Apache web server won't publish the page unless you configure it as shown in the documentation.

If the instructions in the documentation didn't work to configure your Apache server to publish its status page, let us know in what way and we'll try to help you out.
Hi Roger,
Our Linux guy tried the config as shown in the docs and he showed me that he got it right but when I tried to add the Apache monitor to the node I've still got this errors. SSH Service? We could connect to the servers by using SSH. I've been trying to troubleshoot but still no avail.
Redhat 5 error:
Testing on node rivervale: failed with "Undefined" status.
Cannot connect to SSH service. lease set login/ password combination first.
CentOS 5 error:
Testing on node de-CentOS.abc:failed with "Underfined" status
Script execution failed. Input string was not in a correct format.
Thank you,
