GetViewList error when trying to patch NCM 5.0

An error during the upgrade process is preventing NCM from being updated from 5.0 to  SP1 or SP2.    The goal is to get it upto current patch-level in order to upgrade the rest of the Solarwinds software, including Orion.  The hold up is upgrading NCM now, it is failing with the exact same error whether I try SP1 or SP2.   I pasted the screenshot below, but the error says:

   Error while executing script - There is already an object named "GetViewList' in the database.

I hit OK, then the configuraion manager does nothing, and I  have to click "finish" to abort the upgrade.  The same thing happens whether I try to upgrade to SP1 or SP2.  I cannot upgrade Orion because of this issue, so it's holding up progress in multiple fronts.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

This is what Solarwinds support said to do, in case it might help anyone else.   This workaround helped allow the upgrade program to run through but at least in my case I the About window does not show any upgrade to the software, no indication that SP1 or SP2 have been installed.  Still trying to determine if that About window thing is correct.   It says User Interface version 8.3.127 and ConfigManagmtEngine8 version 8.3.179, if anyone knows what version corresponds to what service pack (not sure why this wouldn't be in the About window):

Thanks for contacting Solarwinds Technical Support.

This error occurs when updating the Orion NCM database when the Cirrus_DefaultWeb.slq file is being processed. Here is the workaround for this error. please back up the cirrus_defaultweb.sql before proceeding.

1)      Navigate to the NCM directory and open the Cirrus_defaultWeb.sql file with notepad

2)      Do a search for GetViewList

The query should resemble

    "GO
create procedure GetViewList
as
begin"

3)      Change the GetViewList to dbo.GetViewList – Now the query should be…

“GO
create procedure dbo.GetViewList
as
begin”

4)       Save the file & rerun through the configuration wizard.
