Unmanaged Nodes Mysteriously Become Managed Again

We are running SAM 6.2.1 and I have a question regarding unmanaging nodes & monitors.

We have an SSL Certificate monitor that's a little too chatty for us right now. Until we can find time to troubleshoot this, we Unmanaged the monitor using the date picker to the year 2020. Earlier this week, we started getting spammed with emails about certificate errors.

I looked at the monitor and it was no longer in an unmanaged state.

Similarly, I put three windows servers in an unmanaged state until 4/1/2016 @ 3PM this week and I checked today and they were no longer unmanaged.

Any reason why this might be happening?

Go to your message center and check your audit events for the nodes.

You will see the un manage, also a change in dates if re-set, and also the re-manage (by system) if the duration was up. You will see a username if someone manually re-managed the nodes.

Thank you. This helped us hunt down a script that was running under a different account and modifying the unmanaged time!
