component monitor

I want to create two monitors one to monitor a linux server to see if it is responding to NTP requests and secondly to monitor an TFTP server to see if it's up and working. Could someone point me to the documentation or show me how to set these up ?

Since both of these are UDP you may need to write a script that checks them in a way that is appropriate for you, you can also check the community provided content to see if somebody has already written something.
