From address problems (alerting v8)

Has anyone else seen issues with the "from" address not filling in properly when using advanced alerts in V8? I've tried created a couple advanced alerts, and on all of them so far, regardless of what email address I send to, its using the same email address that I fill in the "to" box, as the "from" address, instead of what I actually fill in the "from" field.
