Site of Origin; Default route; AS# question

Verizon is providing use with SOO services. They provide a default route to the router. It's a BGP route with an origin AS#. We would like to find a way to monitor any changes to the AS#. It is in the Path information for the BGP route. However, no trap and no snmp MIB entry seems to address this information.

Has anyone encountered this? Any suggestions?

You'll absolutely need SNMP access to the router. I'm using Orion Universal Device Poller (UnDP) to monitor our BGP AS of our vendor(s).

Thanks for the reply. However, we want to monitor a change in the AS# for the BGP default route provided by the vendor as SOO on our own routers.
