After the recent(ish) 7.0 NCM update, it is apparent we are being pushed out of the Win32 app for NCM. I'm fine with this, but when I get responses like the one below I feel as if we are getting a product that is only half finished.

Update for Case #308178 - "NCM config exports" Hi Aaron, I have had a look at a test system and the only way of pulling the config for export purposes is by drilling down to the config and copying and pasting the config. The other option as you mentioned will entail direct access to the NCM server which is not always a feasible option. Since your initial question has been answered, we shall close this ticket, if you have further new questions, please feel free to submit a new ticket online.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Again, I'm all for pushing the web based version, but please include basic features like exporting the data. I've ran into this as well with UDT, no option to export to csv. It would seem that these should be basic and default feature sets for the applications. NCM, UDT, and NPM all capture great data, now let us do something with it. Now that the complaining is done, here is the question. Has anyone found a decent way of easily extracting (not a copy and paste) config files from the NCM web based version? With some of our configs running close to 10 pages long, there must be a better way. |
Any help is appreciated as it appears tech support just gave me the bird.
