Solarwinds on public internet

Hi all,

I know this question will have been asked a thousand times but can anyone tell me how hardened Solarwinds as an application is hardened for the internet. We are looking at deploying the front end (SSL only) on the internet.

Our userbase is hooked in via AD so will be authZ'd that way.

Can anyone tell me the pro's and con's and any tips and tricks to do this as I don't want to deploy the NMS to the internet if its going to bring any risk to the organisation.

I'm looking for the same information as Thomas.

I'd be interested to know how people are presenting their Solarwinds to the internet. Is it secure enough to put an SSL cert on it and route it out a NextGen firewall, or are people putting some type of web application firewall in front of it too? Right now, we have an SSL cert in place, but we are hesitant to port it through our Palo Alto to the internet. We currently access it via VPN, but it would be nice to not have to do that.

I see very good place ssl access account security.
to believe only be the work of setting up, but still worth put.
