Missing Asset Inventory Information

Hi,

We recently upgraded our Solarwinds to SAM 6.5.0 and we started to see missing Asset Inventory info on some of new added nodes. We have tried to deselect/reselect Asset Inventory on the nodes resources and reinstall Solarwinds agent, but the issue still persist.

Below image is an example of the problem. The last inventory collection time is always on Monday, January 1, 0001. Click on Poll Now does not change.

Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

I know it sounds stupid, but have you checked to make sure that all the servers (including Orion & SQL) are running on the same timezone.

Thanks David. I check, all servers have the same timezone.

I ended up opening a ticket with SolarWinds support. They told me that this is a bug with the current SolarWinds agent on Windows Server 2008/R2. The work-around is change the polling method to WMI.
