Looking for some help on how to get detail Events information from SolarWinds into ServiceNow.
An example of the default Event Information from SolarWinds is as follows:
Application "Windows SQL Server 2003-2012 Services and Counters " on node "PXXXXXSQL" is in a warning state
Component "Logical Disk: Avg. Disk Queue Length" for application "Windows SQL Server 2003-2012 Services and Counters " on node "PXXXXXXX" is in a critical state
We would like to get greater details such as what cause the application to go into the current state, what threshold was breached with the metric and how long it has been in the current state as example
We have reached out to Support which told us to use Alerts with the NetPrefMon Event Log trigger action but we are limited to what option that we could use such as CPU, Memory, IO and Response Time.
We need all components to be available such as Avg Queue length, Processor Time %, Pages\Sec, SQL Indexes, IIS Monitors and Exchange...etc.
Does anyone have another idea on how to get better Events or Alerts details information out of SolarWinds so I can import it into ServiceNow.
Thank you
Jeff
