I'm confused i didn't find the information about how to poll a node on demand. I'm on the web interface and i wish to refresh the data collected for a specific node right now. How should i do this ?

You can do that from the Node Management screen. Search for the node you want to poll, click the check box next to the node's name and select Poll Now from the More Actions drop down list.
