Network Sonar for ServerDiscovery

Hello,

extreme newbie here.

I'm needing a way to scan and find servers that are not being monitored/setup as a node.

I am not sure that the Network Sonar is the tool I need to use to do this, but when I do use it, it finds everything.

How are you doing your scans? If it is a range of IP address subnets then yes Network Sonar is going to find everything on those subnets and you then have to import that which you care about.. if you happen to know the IP addresses or machine names of all the servers in your environment, in monitoring or not, you can do a targeted scan to reduce the noise of extra devices found.. if you have a segregated environment in that all of your infrastructure devices are on specific subnets and end user devices on other subnets then you can scan just the relevant ones...
