I need to understand the software licensing requirements to implement the email monitoring that is being discussed in the free Monitoring 101 class.

As with most accounts I have a significant investment in these software modules.  I need to understand what costs are requires to implement this free monitoring training. 

This may be a direction that I want to go and it may be outside the scope of my Solar Winds plan.

I am not sure what the free monitoring item your on about but email monitoring is done in server and application monitor which is associated with the appinsight for exchange template which monitors the exchange mailboxes, services and dag. The module is licensed by component monitor and exchange monitoring in sam uses 50 component monitors.
