Views and Manage Views Creation

I was wondering if there was a way in Manage Views to tie a view to another view. For example, I've created a view and have enabled left navigation. Each left navigation tab seems to be an additional view within the Manage Views section. Now with that said, I want to create another view, using those same left navigation tabs but with different filters. Is there a way to copy the whole page view or even copy the views, and tie them to the left navigation through sql? I'm just trying to figure out a way to do this without having to recreate each single view, which with as many locations we have, will take weeks to do :-(

I've not found a way to do it either. It would be nice if we could copy a view with left navigation and all.

You should create a feature request for this. I'll vote for it.

You can already do this without a feature request. You create custom tabs on the page in question and then link all the views from various login accounts to it.

Example: You want the ability to change any departments Home Summary Page using only the left navigation enabled.

1. Select 1 Main view (Mine is _<Organization> - Summary Home

2. Add and recreate everything from "View 2" to "New Tab"

3. Go to that Departments account settings and change their default summary home page to the new one (should be named _<organiazation> - Summary Home - <New Tab Name>

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for more views you want to add

This also allows anyone to access any tab you have created.
