Is it possible to install netpath probe on a cisco device ( router/switch) and use that a source of sending probes to specific destinations?

I am using Netath to our routers. It works. I am setting it up to notify me when we fail over to our secondary connection. It is currently going to a 2951, 1941, and 2911 routers.

Our routers ( ASR 1006) usually will be consuming 40% CPU.
After installing the netpath probe have you observed any CPU spike in your routers ?
I have not noticed much difference in CPU. The current issue is the netpath does not stay green. It is frequently showing config changes on several of our devices & routers, even though there is no changes as you can see below. we have the polling set at 2 minutes because my supervisor wants to know within a short time frame if we switch over. It has taken a few tries on some of them but i was able to get netpath to 4 remote sites on the above mentioned routers.

on one i am hitting port 80, on the other 3 it is port 22
Can you share the steps to install a probe in a switch? I am trying to find out how to get it but no luck.
In my case I´ll try to install the probe in a huawei switch.
NetPath Probes require Windows OS as it uses the SolarWinds Agent - Here are the requirements - NetPath requirements
Yeah, nnettrouer is saying they are sending from a windows machine with the probe on it toward a cisco router, not originating the probes from the router. Cisco has a built in capability called IPSLA that does a roughly similar thing to netpath, and you can monitor some IPSLA functions using just a custom UNDP in NPM, but some others require CLI access, which SolarWinds covers with their VNQM product
